Chapter 15: Seven Inch Syringe

Jayne Eye-Catcher opened her eyes and looked around. The room was cramped and dark. Several dim red lights blinked sluggishly on a console in the corner. To her left, Lew Brain Ache groaned. He wasn't in good shape. She attempted to stand but was prevented by the low ceiling. "Lew Brain Ache?" She said kneeling by his side. "Wake up!"

Lew Brain Ache sat up, rubbing his head. He looked into her face and felt uplifted by her beauty. "What's going on?" He said dizzily.

"I think we've been kidnapped." She whispered, looking around. She crawled over to a nearby viewport. "This thing is travelling underwater!" She exclaimed, gazing at the beds of seaweed that were whizzing by.

Lew Brain Ache joined her at the window. "Where are we going now?" he asked, annoyed.

"I don't know." Jayne Eye-Catcher replied. "But we have a mission to perform. We can't afford any more delays!"

The room door phumphed open and three little guys dressed in magenta uniforms scurried in. Lew Brain Ache and Jayne Eye-Catcher turned rapidly round.

"Nich nika niche nicckka!" One of them said excitedly.

"What?" Jayne Eye-Catcher said.

"Nih nihkcha!" Another one of the little chaps shouted, producing a seven inch syringe. He charged at Lew Brain Ache and thrust it hard into his neck. Its pale blue contents were pumped in before Jayne Eye-Catcher could stop it. She grabbed the little bloke and headbutted him hard. His skull cracked and he fell instantly unconscious. Dropping him onto her foot, she kicked him like a football, sending him crunching into the opposite wall. A pool of rich red blood expanded around him.

"Nicha Nictakaka Fakka!" The dead guy's friends sweared in unison. They leapt at Jayne Eye-Catcher, performing swift roundhouse kicks to her head. She blocked their blows and effortlessly slammed them into the control console. Arcs of electricity fizzed around their petite bodies as their heads smashed through the view screens. They shuddered then collapsed, charred and lifeless, to the floor.

Lew Brain Ache staggered aimlessly around, the effects of the mysterious drug taking effect. "I am the angel of death" He announced to Jayne Eye-Catcher in a deeply unnatural voice. "Let us join and conceive a deadly army of evil, demonic wizards!" He grabbed Jayne Eye-Catcher and attempted to tear off her skin tight body suit.

"Lew Brain Ache?" She exclaimed. "What's happening to you?"

"Get naked." Lew Brain Ache ordered as saliva dribbled down his double chin.

Jayne Eye-Catcher struggled. "Let go!"

"I want you!" Lew Brain Ache hissed, grabing her waist.

Jayne Eye-Catcher had had enough. With a single swipe of her well toned and highly trained left arm, she whacked Lew Brain Ache’s head hard. He slipped out of consciousness.

"I'm sorry." She said with a hint of guilt. "But I can't stand that sort of behaviour."

Jayne Eye-Catcher picked Lew Brain Ache up and placed him over her shoulder. Half crouched; she made her way out of the room. An alarm was sounding.

More of them will arrive any second, she thought, I have to find a means of escape. Choosing randomly, she headed off down a passageway, failing to notice the faint glow of red that had just appeared in Lew Brain Ache's eyes.
